Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Veyla collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. Veyla is operated by Maxine Montpetit, a licensed master stylist based in Victoria, BC.

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type in: name, email, city, phone number (if you provide one), and your answers about your hair, since those help us plan sessions and decide who to reach out to. We don't collect anything beyond what's in the form.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and roughly where from. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store anything on your device, and can't follow you across other websites. We only see aggregate numbers, not individual visitor activity.

Why we collect it

• Model signups — to consider you for a session, plan logistics, and contact you about it.
• Launch notify signups — to email you when Veyla is ready, and nothing else.
• Analytics — to understand whether this site is working, in aggregate, not individually.

Who sees it

Form submissions go to Netlify, who host this site and process the forms on our behalf. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else. Nobody is emailing you on behalf of another company.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions as long as they're useful for the purpose you gave them to us — generally until a model casting round closes, or until Veyla launches for the notify list. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; see contact info below.

Your choices

Any email we send you will include a way to unsubscribe or opt out. You can also just email us directly and ask to be removed, no explanation needed, and we'll take care of it.
